Rosemary Marinade for Filet Mignon

“Be sure and marinate steaks early, best if marinated a day ahead.”

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon shallot, minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix ingredients together.
  2. Spread on all sides of filet mignon.
  3. Marinate at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. Grill on BBQ or brown in butter and oil.

Serve with Garlic Sauce.

Yield: enough for 4 steaks
